Anxiety & Stress

Anxiety is one of the most common conditions clients come to me for.
It can often affect sleep as well, especially difficulty falling asleep.
It can sometimes take a little longer than most other conditions, because it can be ‘sticky’. In other words, it needs a bit of repetition to get rid of.
That is because your brain is alerting you to some kind of danger it has noticed, so that’s not designed to be let go too easily.
However, we still do get results relatively rapidly. A lot depends on when it started and what caused it.
The first session is designed to reduce your anxiety as quickly as possible, and then we go more deeply into it on the second session.

Fear of Flying
​
Fear of flying often has its own category and might be the only thing you are anxious about.
The usual cause is something as simple and unpleasant as a bad flight with a lot of turbulence.
For some people, however, it can extend to other forms of anxiety, such as fear of public transport in general.
