Use
You might receive bodywork treatment from me if you have pain, physical injury or restriction of movement or are particularly stressed in your neck and shoulders or lower back. I often use the Scenar device first on the same area which I find produces excellent results.
Approach
I combine elements of Swedish massage, sports massage, Bowen technique, polarity therapy,
osteopathic support massage, shiatsu, Thai massage, muscle energy technique,
Chinese acupressure and Tui Na. You pick up a little trick here and a technique
there over the years and forget the stuff that didn’t seem to work that well.
And so it should be.
Sometimes an elbow
can best reach the parts other things can’t. And sometimes a virtually
invisible move with a finger across the skin can have an almost magical effect.
EFT
I also use EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) mainly for mental/emotional issues even though it's a physical therapy as it involves tapping various points on the head, neck and arms.
Training
I trained at the West London School of Therapeutic Massage and hold three ITEC qualifications (Anatomy/Physiology/Massage, Aromatherapy and Sports Therapy). I have also qualified in Tui Na at a MIPTI registered course at Morley College, London.
